Kelowna Virtual Reality (VR) Rooms

A Futuristic Experience

With A Touch Of The Classics

When you walk through the doors, you’ll walk through our 80s style arcade into an LED-lit space that looks like something from the future, and our friendly staff will be ready to get your experience started and assist with whatever you need.

Arcadia has eight booths, most of which are standard size with state-of-the-art computer systems, headsets and controls. One person is allowed per booth at a time, but the booths can be linked together online, allowing you to play alongside your friends in the virtual world.

Your Hyper Reality Experience is a 3 player shared space… allowing you to physically walk through the game. No buttons to learn and memorize, no limiting cables, just high octane gaming that will have you back to back with your friends fighting the undead! This VR experience includes haptic guns, giving you the feeling of realistic recoil.

When you’re done playing, hangout in the lounge and watch your friends play on the big screen. Having a party? Our Party Room is perfect for all types of celebrations! For more information on pricing and packages, click here.

Play Hard - Play Safe

Keeping Reality At Bay

It’s normal to have safety concerns about VR Rooms, especially if you’ve never tried it before. That’s why at Arcadia we have taken precautions to make sure it’s a safe environment for everyone.

Worried about running into a wall? Don’t be! Arcadia’s booths offer ample playing space, and the games will warn you if you are getting too close to the edge of the playing zone with magical virtual walls. There are also pads on all the booth walls to lessen any accidental human-wall collisions.

Arcadia’s games also have age restrictions, so you don’t have to worry about your youngsters having nightmares about freaky zombies, aliens or wars after a session. For adults, however – no guarantees!

A High End VR Experience

Needs A High End VR System

We knew that in order to provide the best experience, we needed the best technology. That’s why we use HTC Vive headsets paired with the best in computer components.

Our booths are all individually powered with Intel i7 processors for the best performance, an entire terabyte of solid-state disk space for ludicrous game loading capabilities, and a 1080ti graphics processor unit, designed to make your experience at our facility as vivid and lifelike as possible. We wanted to push the envelope even more with our large booth, so we added a second graphics card in SLI configuration, squeezing out as much computational power as we can muster.
